TOPICS TO BE ADDRESSED
Innovation, digital sustainability and data-driven society: these will be the themes of the first edition of “TAWAVE: the wave of change”, an event that will be inaugurated on Saturday 25 September at the prestigious Hotel La Salina with the Patronage of the Municipality of Taranto.
The promoter in charge of organizing the event is “surfHers”: a socio-cultural promotion association, which was born with the aim of spreading awareness on the issues of technology and digital innovation and encouraging research within companies.
The surfHers association, represented by Alessia Demarco, Mariagrazia Efato, Valeria Merlo, Stefania Ressa and Carlotta Spalluto – all professionals from Taranto in the digital sector – intends to seize the opportunity of digital information as a tool for change that puts man at the center of this continuous development project. The ultimate goal remains the valorization of people within organizations and outside of them.
TAWAVE, which will take place over the course of an entire afternoon, will host some of the most well-known personalities in Italy, involved in the high-tech and innovation sector, who will discuss the macro-theme of digital sustainability and data-driven companies.

The interventions and debates between the invited experts and the public will provide information, awareness and inspiration.
PARTNERS OF THE INITIATIVE
Among the partners of the initiative is: Sabanet, a Taranto software house operating on the national territory and leader in the security and safety sectors.
Finally, the TAWAVE event enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Taranto and the University of Bari, Aldo Moro.
